The composer is where a post is written. The calendar is where it is placed. Most daily work moves between the two.
Writing in the composer
The editor sits on the left, the AI panel on the right. Write with formatting and lists, and watch the live character count against the platforms you have selected.
Target several platforms at once, then use per platform overrides to adapt the copy where it needs to differ, without creating separate posts. A LinkedIn version and an X version of the same post stay one record.
You can also:
- Attach media by dragging a file in, or by picking from the Brand's library.
- Build a multi image carousel and set the order.
- Choose the poster frame for a video.
- Schedule a first comment on Instagram.
- Insert hashtags, including reusable saved hashtag sets.
- Let Collabre build the link preview card.
- Start from a content template so house formats stay consistent.
- Open version history and roll back to an earlier draft.
Platform previews show the post as it will appear on each platform you selected, so you check the line breaks and the crop before anyone else sees it.
The AI panel
Four panels sit beside the editor. Generate produces copy, hashtags and variations from a prompt or a brief. Optimize reads the current draft and offers suggestions you can apply inline. SEO handles keyword research and inserting target keywords. Uniqueness checks the draft against external duplication services before it ships.
AI image generation runs in the composer too, so a visual can be made and attached without leaving the post.
Where the composer opens
The composer opens on a blank post, on an existing post, inside a Campaign with the brief and goals shown alongside, or on a specific Content Slot in a Deliverable. The actions change to match: Save Draft, Schedule, Publish Now, Submit for Review, Submit to Slot. Leaving with unsaved work prompts you, with a path that saves the draft first.
A separate collaborative editor supports several people editing at once, with live cursors.
The calendar
The calendar has five view modes: Month, Week, Day, List and Swimlane, which gives one lane per platform. On a phone it opens on List.
Drag a post to move it. A drop in Month keeps the original time of day, a drop in Week snaps to the hour, and a drop into the past is refused. Select many posts to publish, reschedule, duplicate, delete or change status together, and undo a reschedule or a delete if you picked the wrong ones.
Overlays and filters
Turn on the overlays you need:
- Best time to post, recommended per platform from your own audience data.
- Holidays, with a region selector and your own custom dates.
- Recurring patterns, which you can create, pause and delete.
- Campaign timelines, drawn as bars across the dates.
- Share links, which give a client a read only calendar URL with an optional expiry date.
Filter by platform, status and Campaign. Conflict detection warns you when two posts land too close together on the same account.
