Integration

Google Workspace

Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides for content and reports.

What it does in Collabre

Google Workspace connects Collabre to Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides, the places your team already keeps drafts, spreadsheets and decks. Content and reports stay where your team reads them, and the files behind a piece of work are reachable from Collabre instead of lost in a shared drive.

The Google Workspace screen has three tabs. Browse Files lets you move through your Google Drive folders and open any Doc, Sheet, Slides deck or file in Google. Create sets up an organized folder structure in Drive for the Workspace, and creates a Google Doc for content drafts, a Google Sheet for analytics exports or bulk scheduling, or a Google Slides presentation for reports. Permissions keeps Drive access in line with your team: Permission Sync gives Owners and Admins writer access and Members commenter access on the file or folder you choose. Like every integration, the connection refreshes its own credentials and reports its health.

How to connect it

  1. Open Integration Hub from the Integrations group in the sidebar.
  2. Find Google Workspace under Productivity and press Connect.
  3. Sign in on Google's own consent screen and grant access.
  4. Back in Collabre, the card shows Connected with the account name.
  5. Open Google Workspace from the Integrations group in the sidebar.
  6. On the Create tab, press Setup Folders to create the Workspace's folder structure in Drive.

The connection is stored against your Workspace. Disconnect from the Integration Hub card at any time.

Using it on a Campaign

Say your agency starts a new client Campaign and the client wants drafts and reports in Google. Press Setup Folders once for the Workspace, so every file has a home in Drive. On the Create tab, create a Google Doc for the Campaign's content drafts, a Google Sheet to plan bulk scheduling, and a Google Slides presentation for the wrap up report. Then use Permission Sync on the Campaign folder so your Owners and Admins can edit and Members can comment, without anyone sharing files one by one.
