Collabre glossary

The words Collabre uses for its parts, each defined in a few sentences, with the product and documentation pages where you will meet it.

Terms from A to Z

  • Agent

An Agent is a configurable AI specialist in Collabre with a name, a role, a system prompt, a set of tools it may use, a memory scope and a spending cap. It fills Campaign roles the way a person does, every run is recorded step by step, and it asks a person when it is unsure.

  • Approval Workflow

An Approval Workflow is an ordered chain of review stages. Each stage names the role required to sign off and a deadline in hours. A workflow is set per Brand or as the Workspace default, and it applies to posts, to media assets and, through their own review layer, to Campaign Content Slots.

  • Assembly Board

The Assembly Board is the view where a Campaign's Deliverables and their Content Slots are composed into the finished piece. It shows each slot with its owner and state beside a platform preview of the assembled result, so a manager can see what is ready, what is waiting and who it is waiting on.

  • Autopilot level

An Autopilot level is the per-Campaign setting that decides how far Agents may act without asking a person. It has four positions, Off, Suggest Only, Auto with Approval and Full Auto, and every new Campaign starts on Suggest Only, so an Agent proposes and a person decides.

  • Brand

A Brand is the organizing unit for all content in Collabre. Each Brand has its own logo, colors, fonts, voice and written guidelines, and its own connected social accounts. A Workspace holds one or more Brands, and almost nothing in the product is visible until the first Brand exists.

  • Campaign

A Campaign is the container for one marketing initiative. It holds the brief, the goals, the budget, the date range, the people and Agents assigned to it with their roles, the Deliverables it owes and the phase it is in. Posts, tasks and assets attach to it, and its performance rolls up to it.

  • Content Slot

A Content Slot is one typed piece of a Deliverable, such as a caption, an image, a video, a thumbnail, hashtags, a first comment or alt text. Each slot is assigned to a Writer, Designer or Reviewer role and moves through its own states: Empty, In Progress, Submitted, In Review, then Approved or Rejected.

  • Deliverable

A Deliverable is one finished item a Campaign owes, such as an Instagram launch post. It is defined per channel and platform while the Campaign is planned, and it breaks into typed Content Slots, such as the caption, the image and the hashtags, which different roles fill and review separately.

  • Department

A Department is a group of Agents that works one brief together. It has a charter, a conductor Agent that turns the brief into a plan of subtasks, and member Agents that carry them out, running independent subtasks in parallel and handing work on through a shared Department memory.

  • First-click attribution

First-click attribution is a model that gives all of the credit for a conversion to the first touchpoint in the journey. If a buyer first saw a LinkedIn post, later opened a newsletter and finally clicked a search ad, the LinkedIn post receives the whole conversion and the later touchpoints receive none.

  • Ground-truth verification

Ground-truth verification is how Collabre checks reported numbers. It pulls the same metrics from independent sources, such as Google Analytics 4, PostHog and the platforms themselves, compares them, and raises a warning or a critical alert when platform-reported figures disagree with the source you trust beyond a threshold you set.

  • Human-in-the-loop Inbox

The Human-in-the-loop Inbox is where Agents bring their questions to people. When an Agent needs something it should not decide alone, it raises a blocking question, pauses its own run and waits. Each question is routed to the right person, carries a response deadline, and is one of six types, from Information to Drift Alert.

  • Last-click attribution

Last-click attribution is a model that gives all of the credit for a conversion to the final touchpoint before it. If a buyer saw a LinkedIn post, then opened a newsletter, then clicked a search ad and bought, the search ad receives the whole conversion and the earlier touchpoints receive none.

  • Linear attribution

Linear attribution is a model that splits the credit for a conversion equally across every touchpoint in the journey. If a buyer saw a LinkedIn post, opened a newsletter and clicked a search ad before buying, each of the three touchpoints receives one third of the conversion and one third of its value.

  • Position-based attribution

Position-based attribution is a model that rewards both ends of the journey. Collabre gives 40 percent of the credit for a conversion to the first touchpoint, 40 percent to the last, and splits the remaining 20 percent equally across the touchpoints in between. It is also called the 40/20/40 or U-shaped model.

  • Spending cap

A spending cap is a limit on what AI Agents may spend doing their work. Collabre sets caps at three levels: per Agent run, per Agent per day and per Workspace per month. Each Campaign also carries its own cap, one of three guardrails required before its Autopilot level can rise above Suggest Only.

  • Time-decay attribution

Time-decay attribution is a model that gives more credit to the touchpoints closest to a conversion and less to the ones further back. In Collabre the weight of a touchpoint halves for every 7 days between it and the conversion, and the weights across a path are then scaled to share one whole conversion.

  • Workspace

A Workspace is the tenant in Collabre: one company, agency or client. It holds the billing, the members, the Brands, the content and the settings, and it is reached at its own subdomain. A person can belong to several Workspaces and switch between them, and each one keeps its work apart from the others.
