How it works in Collabre
Slots are how a Deliverable gets split among the people who make it. Slot types include caption, image, video, thumbnail, hashtags, first comment, alt text, ad copy, link sticker and caption overlay, among others.
A writer opens the Composer on the slot itself and uses Submit to Slot when the piece is ready. The slot moves from In Progress to Submitted, then into review. Content Slots carry their own review layer, so a caption can be approved while its image is still being reworked.
People in non-manager roles get a contributor dashboard that shows only the slots assigned to them, so a designer works a queue rather than searching every Campaign.
Seeing the whole piece
The Assembly Board shows every slot of a Deliverable together with a platform preview, so a manager sees which slot is holding the piece up.
