How it works in Collabre
A post moves through a defined lifecycle: Draft, Pending Approval, Approved, Scheduled, Publishing and Published, with Failed and Archived as end states. The Approval Workflow governs the step from Pending Approval to Approved.
Build a workflow by ordering its stages and naming the role that signs off at each one, then give every stage its deadline in hours. Set it on a Brand, or once for the whole Workspace as the default.
Auto-approve rules can be set for named roles that do not need to review. A pending approval past its deadline is escalated automatically, so work does not sit unnoticed.
The review queue
Everything waiting on a decision sits in one approval queue. Select several items to approve or reject them together. Comments carry @mentions and change requests, and the full approval history stays on the item, so the reasoning behind a decision is not lost in email.
Media assets run through the same chain, so an image is signed off before it ships.
