Human-in-the-loop Inbox

The Human-in-the-loop Inbox is where Agents bring their questions to people. When an Agent needs something it should not decide alone, it raises a blocking question, pauses its own run and waits. Each question is routed to the right person, carries a response deadline, and is one of six types, from Information to Drift Alert.

How it works in Collabre

The six question types are Information, Approval, Choice, Creative Review, Tool Approval and Drift Alert. Questions route to the right person based on expertise profiles. Every question carries a response deadline, with a nudge at the halfway point and expiry if nobody answers.

Answering is quick by design. Answer templates hold reusable responses, private or shared with the Workspace, with variable substitution. Voice answers record a spoken reply that is transcribed and editable before it is sent. When a question closely matches something already in memory or a prior answer, auto-answer can resolve it above a confidence threshold without interrupting anyone.

Why Agents ask

Agents in Collabre are designed to ask rather than guess. Tool approval rules default to human confirmation on every call, so a Tool Approval question is how an Agent requests permission. A Department run pauses the same way when one of its members raises a question. Bulk actions, reassignment and filters keep a busy Inbox manageable.
