Integration

Jira

Two-way issue sync, epic-to-campaign linking, workflow mapping.

What it does in Collabre

Jira keeps your engineering or delivery tracker and your marketing work in step. Collabre runs a two way sync with Jira, links epics to Campaigns and maps Jira workflow statuses to the statuses your team uses in Collabre. Teams that keep Jira as their system of record carry on working there, while the content side of the same work lives in Collabre with the Campaign it belongs to.

The Jira screen has three tabs. Linked Projects lists every Jira project you have linked, with its key, an Active or Disabled badge and buttons to view issues, sync or unlink. Issues shows each synced issue with its key, summary, type, status, assignee, sync status and direction. Connect Project loads the projects in your Jira cloud instance so you can link the ones you need. Jira also feeds Goals: a goal's metrics can come from Jira, and a goal can be linked to a Jira epic. The connection refreshes its own credentials, syncs on a schedule and reports its health.

How to connect it

  1. Open Integration Hub from the Integrations group in the sidebar.
  2. Find Jira under Project Management and press Connect.
  3. Sign in on Atlassian's own consent screen and choose the Jira site Collabre may use.
  4. Open Jira from the Integrations group in the sidebar and go to Connect Project.
  5. Press Load Jira Projects, then press Link next to each project you want to sync.
  6. On Linked Projects, press Sync to pull the project's issues.

After a sync, Collabre tells you how many issues are new and how many were updated.

Using it on a Campaign

Say a product launch Campaign depends on a release that engineering tracks as a Jira epic. Link the Jira project, then link the epic to the launch Campaign. As issues in the epic move through their Jira workflow, the mapped statuses keep the Campaign's view of the release current, and work your team updates in Collabre syncs back to Jira. If the launch has a goal such as shipping on a date, link that goal to the same epic so its progress follows the work.

Questions

Yes. Jira sync is two way. Each synced issue shows its direction and sync status, so you can see where a change came from.

Yes. Link as many projects as you need from Connect Project. Each linked project can be synced, viewed or unlinked on its own.

A goal can be linked to a Jira epic, and its metrics can be sourced from Jira, so goal progress reflects the work being tracked there.

Where it shows up
