Getting started

Getting started

Create a Workspace, add your first Brand, connect the accounts you publish from, and work through the getting-started checklist on the dashboard.

Collabre opens on a three step onboarding wizard: create the Workspace, create a Brand, connect accounts. You can leave the wizard and come back to it. The dashboard keeps a getting-started checklist that tracks what is still outstanding.

Step one: create the Workspace

The Workspace is the tenant. It holds billing, members, Brands, content and settings, and it is reachable at its own subdomain. Name it after your company, your agency, or the client you are setting it up for.

A person can belong to several Workspaces. Use the switcher in the top bar to move between them. Nothing crosses from one Workspace into another: members, Brands, content and settings all stop at the Workspace boundary.

Step two: create a Brand

The Brand is the organizing unit for all content, and creating one is the gate that unlocks the rest of the product. Until a Brand exists, the composer, the calendar, Campaigns and the AI features have nothing to attach to.

A Brand carries its own logo, colors, fonts, voice and written guidelines, plus its own connected accounts. Teams running two products, or an agency running several clients, create one Brand for each and keep the work apart. You can fill in the Brand Kit later, from the Brand settings screen.

Step three: connect accounts

Social accounts attach to the Brand rather than to the Workspace, and publishing runs from there. Pick the platform, sign in on that platform's own consent screen, and choose the page or profile Collabre may post to.

Collabre stores the access token, refreshes it when the platform expires it, and shows connection health beside each account. If a token is rejected during a publish, Collabre refreshes it and retries the publish for you.

Connect the analytics, work and design tools you already use from the integrations screen at the same time.

What to do next

  • Open the composer, write a post, and schedule it. See Composer and calendar.
  • Set up an Approval Workflow so drafts reach a reviewer before they go out. See Approvals.
  • Invite the people who will work with you, and give them roles. See Roles and permissions.
  • Create your first Campaign when you need Deliverables, dates and a budget in one place. See Campaigns.
  • Connect Google Analytics 4 or PostHog so published work can be measured against an independent source. See Analytics and reports.

Where the rest of the help lives

Every Workspace carries a help center, guided tours you can restart at any time, a tutorial video library, and a command palette that searches posts, Brands, tasks and Campaigns. See Help and support for how to reach each of them, and for how to write to the team when a page here does not answer your question.
